350 Crores loss for Telugu Film Industry in 2013

2013 is very unlucky for Telugu film industry. Almost 180 plus films released till December 2013. Out of those 180 plus, only 15 to 20 films were either block buster hits, hits and average. But remaining 150 plus were disasters or flops.


In 2013 Telugu Film Industry lost almost Rs. 350 crores because of poor scripts, poor direction and also huge salaries for stars. And also due to Telangana issue, there were so many bandhs in Telangana as well as Seemandhra added to producer's woes as it decreased collections of many films.

It is definitely worst year for Tollywood box office. Now it's time for film makers to think out of the box.

Hope at least 2014 will be a successful year to the Telugu Film Industry.
